[more]I work as a Financial Engineer at a Fintech company, Moody's Analytics. While this role requires great programming skills, it also requires excellent communicative skills among different Lines of Business as well as with our clients. Studying another language at Dartmouth, as well as taking courses such as Intercultural Communication (RUSS 19), helps me conduct productive business conversations. Additionally, part of my role involves leading a small team as well as demoing / teaching people how to use certain software.
[more]After graduating from Dartmouth in 2016, I joined the Peace Corps in Ukraine, where I worked in a local Ukrainian school. I matriculated to Vanderbilt Law School in 2018 and have since interned with an NGO at The Hague, where I worked on a trial defense team and in human-rights consulting. This summer, I will work at a private law firm in Washington, DC. I am fortunate to be able to keep practicing Russian, including by living in Ukraine and working with witnesses and colleagues in Russian.
[more]Since graduating from Dartmouth in 2016, I have been working in politics, both on political campaigns and in government. I have worked on a Presidential campaign, Lieutenant Governor campaign, and two Gubernatorial campaigns in three different states, in both organizing and fundraising roles. After the most recent campaign for the Governor of Connecticut, I was asked to help with the transition from campaign to administration, and then was asked to continue working in the Governor's Office, where I have been for the past year.
