After Dartmouth I worked at MIT as a research technician in marine microbiology for two years. I had the chance to present at several conferences and decided to pursue graduate school in the sciences. I am currently a first-year graduate student in Microbiology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I am studying mosquito physiology and the vectoring of infectious disease as they might be influenced by the microbiome. I still try to keep Russian in my life even though (к сожалению) I don't get to practice a lot...I read Chekhov and Dostoevsky when I can! They are still my favorite authors and Братья Карамазовы is still my favorite book!
