- Passport Services and Information of the U.S. State Department
- Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. This site provides information about recommended vaccinations for Russia, Eastern Europe, and the NIS (Newly Independent States) of the former Soviet Union.
- Russia Today. A web-based magazine covering Russia and CIS. Includes daily press reviews, television reports, business news, and lots of original articles.
- Official Web Site of the Russian National Tourist Office. Offers an overview of Russia today as well as some travel tips.
- Lonely Planet. Online travel guide to St. Petersburg from the very respected Lonely Planet series of travel guides.
- St. Petersburg Times. Read the current online edition of this weekly English-language newspaper and keep in tune with what's happening in St. Petersburg. Includes listings of what's happening around town — concerts, art shows, clubs and a dining guide.
